1ST TUESDAY CLUB

At November’s gathering, we welcomed Isabel Lind back to the club and her talk was thoroughly enjoyed as usual.

Some “Count your blessings” diaries were returned and over £100 has been collected in aid of the Guild Projects.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Ukelele band at December’s meeting, and also lovely baking donated by our particular friends in the congregation, Catherine, Anna and Ray.

Many of the club members went to Erskine for our Christmas lunch and came home very happy with the day out!

The Midgies returned to entertain us in January and were as well received as on previous visits.

Vivienne used her thousands of pictures to present “Come with me to Africa” in February, showing contrasting countries, peoples, and wildlife.

Following an unfortunate cancellation, Margaret Cooper is in charge of our flower–oriented  meeting in March. We are sure that it will be a most entertaining afternoon with a lot of laughs!!

Quite a large number of our members are coming to Largs to the Musical and High Tea outing.

In April, Willie Clark will describe his wonderful work (often including vehicles!) in Ethiopia, and May sees the return of a great favourite, Stephen Quigg.

We look forward to our summer outing on 10th June 2023 to Helensburgh.

At every meeting this session, new members have arrived and been most warmly welcomed, our numbers are great, but we could squeeze in a few more, so do come along.
